A couple of weeks since my promotion and I am moving up within my new class of peers. I should end up with number 3 on the top sales results in my state this week, next week...number 1 !!!!

 

My plan is to be number 1 in the country within the next 3 months...then into the state sales manager position.

 

Life is very good at the moment. I bought Bec a new car last week, and some kick-arse new Nokia phones that can do video calling. Lot's of little toys for my kids...and for me too!!!

 

Working a little fewer hours every week now, this will gradually get lower the higher I go within my company. Launching a successful sales career is like taking of in a passanger jet. You need to go hard at the beginning on full throttle. If you don't maintain your speed, you jet will never be able to lift off and you'll crash at the end of the runway. If you maintain your speed, you will soon feel your wheels lifting off the ground. Once you are in the air, you can gradually reduce your acceleration...until you get to your top flying altitude.

 

Gotta go now...one of my sales guys has called in sick and I'll have to be at work early to reschedule his appointments. I am sick today as well, but wouldn't dream of having a day off. I'll have to make sure that the guy who called in sick develops a better work ethic...he's one of my best sales guys, but needs more motivating!
