This website is dedicated to all things documentary...full page translation available... The Jewish Couple & the Rabbi
A modern Orthodox Jewish couple, preparing for a religious wedding meets with their rabbi for counseling.
The rabbi asks if they have any last questions before they leave.
The man asks, 'Rabbi, we realize it's tradition for men to dance with men, and women to dance with women at the reception.
But, we'd like your permission to dance together, like the rest of the world.'
'Absolutely not,' says the rabbi. 'It's immodest. Men and women always dance separately.'
'So after the ceremony I can't even dance with my own wife?'
'No,' answered the rabbi. 'It's forbidden.'
'Well, okay,' says the man, 'What about sex? Can we finally have sex?'
'Of course!' replies the rabbi. 'Sex is a mitzvah a good thing within marriage, to have children!'
'What about different positions?' asks the man
'No problem,' says the rabbi 'It's a mitzvah!'
'Woman on top?' the man asks.
'Sure,' says the rabbi. 'Go for it! It's a mitzvah!'
'Doggy style?'
'Sure! Another mitzvah!'
'On the kitchen table?'
'Yes, yes! A mitzvah!'
'Can we do it on rubber sheets with a bottle of hot oil, a couple of vibrators, a leather harness, a bucket of honey and a porno video?'
'You may indeed. It's all a mitzvah!'
'Can we do it standing up?'
'No.' says the rabbi.'
'Why not?' asks the man.
'Could lead to dancing!'

15 Juli Some Changes Around HereI have decided to make some changes around here.
In the past I have held off on posting about a couple of social issues dear to my heart for fear of offending some of my readers. Two of these that spring to mind are my atheist beliefs (I have a lot of South American friends and Christianity is pretty big there!) and the Chinese communist dictatorship (again, I have quite a few Chinese friends).
Well...NO MORE!!!
Life is too short to pull punches, soooooooooooooooo here we go!!!
Tonight I am ranting about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Some of you will be aware that out of the past 6 years, I have spent about half that time living and working in China. Fewer of you would know that I am also a Sinologist, and in particular - a modern Chinese politics specialist - which I believe qualifies me to comment anything related to Chinese politics.
I should point out that EVERYTHING in modern China is related to politics.
The CCP does not have a good human rights record...they never have. Within 5 years of its establishment, the first internal purges were underway that ultimately meant the torture and murder of its own members. That was before they came to power.
Since coming to power, the CCP's focus shifted for the most part to those outside of the Party and how to eliminate threats to its rule. This meant systematic terror and persecution campaigns against the Chinese people and this has never really stopped.
In China today, the average person has no voice in the political arena. Chinese people are not allowed to form groups that are not sanctioned by the Party and if they participate in any of these groups, they are likely to be arrested, tortured and jailed for long periods of time. The same goes for individuals that dare to speak up against their totalitarian rulers.
Although it is difficult to get a clear picture of the extent of torture in China, much is known. I can personally testify that mass public executions still take place in most Chinese cities on a chillingly regular basis.
China is not the only nation that tortures its own people...there are others like the USA, Russia and many other smaller nations. I would like to see the elimination of torture wherever it exists, but mainly concern myself with China because I have a fair bit of first-hand insight into what goes on there.
China should never have been given the right to host the Olympic Games...no country that has a poor human rights record should. When you are watching the Games next month, keep an eye for protests. Those protesters that are foreign will merely be shipped home, but you should be aware that Chinese protesters will be tortured and many will be executed.
When you see the propaganda from the CCP singing the praises of their achievements, do not be fooled.
China is still a dictatorship at war with its own people!!!
14 Juli The Kiwi & the VentriloquistAn Australian ventriloquist visiting New Zealand walks into a Small village and sees a local sitting on his veranda patting his dog.
He figures he'll have a little fun, so he says to the Kiwi 'G'day, mind if I talk to your dog?' Villager: 'The dog doesn't talk, you stupid Aussie.' Ventriloquist: 'Hello dog, how's it going mate?' Dog: 'Yeah, doin' all right.' Kiwi: (look of extreme shock) Ventriloquist: 'Is this villager your owner?' (pointing at the Villager) Dog: 'Yep' Ventriloquist: 'How does he treat you?' Dog: 'Yeah, real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food And takes me to the lake once a week to play.' Kiwi: (look of utter disbelief) Ventriloquist: 'Mind if I talk to your horse?' Kiwi: 'Uh, the horse doesn't talk either...I think.' Ventriloquist: 'Hey horse, how's it going?' Horse: 'Cool' Kiwi: (absolutely dumbfounded) Ventriloquist: 'Is this your owner?' (Pointing at the villager) Horse: 'Yep' Ventriloquist: How does he treat you? Horse: 'Pretty good, thanks for asking. He rides me regularly, Brushes me down often and keeps me in the shed to protect me from the Elements.' Kiwi: (total look of amazement) Ventriloquist: 'Mind if I talk to your sheep?' Kiwi: (in a panic) 'The sheep's a f*****' liar......' 12 Juli CAN YOU DRINK YOUR OWN URINE?Thanks to our wonderful democratic society, you can do whatever you want. The better question is, why would you want to drink your own piss?
Drinking small amounts of your own urine is probably safe. It is made up of 95 percent water, 2.5 percent urea, and 2.5 percent salt, other minerals, hormones, and enzymes.
Actually, some folks consider it to have therapeutic properties. Ask the Chinese Association of Urine Therapy. They say urine is sterile, antiseptic, and nontoxic.
For serious yoga practitioners, drinking one’s urine is called amaroli. One of the most famous users of urine therapy was the prime minister of India from 1977 to 1979, Morarji Desai. At the celebration of his ninety-ninth birthday, Desai attributed his longevity to drinking urine on a daily basis.
But, we plan on sticking to morning coffee, a good glass of cabernet, and an occasional Yoo-hoo, even if it knocks a year or two off our life spans.
The Job InterviewA guy goes to the Post Office to apply for a job. The interviewer asks him, 'Are you allergic to anything?' He says 'Yes - just caffeine' Have you ever been in the service? ˜Yes,' he says. 'I was in Iraq for two years.' The interviewer says, 'That will give you 5 extra points toward employment,' and then asks, 'Are you disabled in any way? The guy says, 'Yes 100%...an IED exploded near me and blew my testicles off' The interviewer tells the guy, 'O.K. In that case, I can hire you right now. Normal hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM. You can start tomorrow at 10:00 - and plan on starting at 10 AM every day.' The guy is puzzled and says, 'If the hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, why don't you want me to be here before 10 AM? 'This is a government job,' the interviewer says. 'For the first two hours we just stand around drinking coffee and scratching our balls. No point in you coming in for that.' 10 Juli Scottish Revenge!!!

Time to Forget!!!The following article make me MAD!!!
Schools failing to teach on Holocaust Justine Ferrari, Education writer | July 10, 2008 AN obsession with Australian history in curriculums has left students able to leave school without knowing that the Holocaust occurred. In a speech to high school principals, NSW education department head Michael Coutts-Trotter regretted the omission of the Holocaust from the state's mandatory history course. "I discovered for the first time about a month ago that you can get through compulsory schooling in NSW and never know that the Holocaust, the destruction of Jews in Europe, actually happened," he said. "You will know a lot about Don Bradman, and that's terrific. But I think to live life, you need to know the Holocaust happened." The only mention of the Holocaust in the NSW syllabus for Years 7-10 is in the beginning, with the rationale for the course starting with a quotation from a Holocaust survivor about the importance of learning history. Compulsory history or social studies courses for schools in the other states also fail to mention the Holocaust. A spokeswoman for the NSW Board of Studies said the history course for Years 7-10 had a lot to cover and the board did not want to overcrowd the curriculum. "There are opportunities to study the Holocaust and its consequences in a number of ways in both mandatory and elective history," she said. Asked about those opportunities, the board pointed to the website of the Sydney Jewish Museum, which highlighted links to NSW syllabuses. The museum suggests it could be the subject of a site visit, compulsory for Year 9 students, and for Year 10 students looking at post-war Australia to the 1970s, it suggests examining the contribution of Jewish migrants. The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies said yesterday it had been concerned for some time about the omission of the Holocaust from school history, and was working with the education department and the board of studies on the issue. Board chief executive Vic Alhadeff said the Jewish community regarded as essential the signposting across the curriculum of issues relating to discrimination, racism and genocide, including the Holocaust. "It is indeed possible to complete 13 years of schooling in NSW without having studied the Holocaust," he said. "This is a matter of great concern to the Jewish community, which works towards social cohesion as a matter of principle." Wollongong University professor of history and politics Gregory Melleuish said the nation had become increasingly obsessed with Australian history over the past 10 or 15 years. "So we tend to look at things like World War I and II as Australia's involvement rather than what was at stake, why did it occur and what was going on," Professor Melleuish said. "Part of the problem of doing it from the point of view of Australia is students get the perspective that Australia saves the world." Federal Education Minister Julia Gillard said the Government had asked the National Curriculum Board to develop a rigorous world-class curriculum for all students in four initial areas, including history. Opposition education spokesman Tony Smith said it should not be possible for a student to leave school without being taught key events such as the two world wars, the Holocaust and the Cold War. Why should the holocaust get special treatment? There have been so many major historical events that have happened sin 60-70 years since then. If we take the Rwanda genocide as an example, surely many of these events directly effect current issues in the world.
Don't get me wrong. The Jewish holocaust was a terrible, terrible thing. Please don't try to tell me I am anti-Semetic because I have great respect for all peoples.
The problem is that the since it happened, the holocaust has been used by Jews worldwide to justify their STEALING of the Palistinian lands and the so-called cilivilised world's backing of this criminal act. It continues to be used as a justification for the inhuman and criminal treatment of the Palistinian people by the the Israeli state.
In this sense, I suppose that the holocaust is important in that it highlights the unimaginative reasoning behind the criminal behaviour of the state of Israel today.
Of course, it also bolsters and justifies the support of this criminal behaviour by countries like Australia, USA and Britain.
The question is - isn't it time to build a bridge and get over it?
The Jews have become so much like the Nazi monsters that terrorised them in WW2 that it is uncanny. This is basic victim mentality. We see this with people that have been sexually abused as children becoming paedophiles themselves as adults.
I get really angry when I see dislpays of the power of the Jewish lobbyists in western countries these days. We should pass laws to curb their influence!!
I think that we all need to start FORGETTING the holocaust and get with the now!!!
There...I feel better for getting this off my chest and will go off to work now with a lighter heart!
