I did something that was really overdue yesterday...I resigned from my job!! My work conditions had been steadily declining over the past 3 months and I decided that I was better than that...and just walked out. It's no big deal, just time for a change.

 

My city has less than 2% unemployment at the moment, so I don't think that I'll have any problems getting a new job. I've already been for one interview and will be going for 3 more on Tuesday.

 

I am not going to take a position where I have to work weekends, or late at night...this is not negotiable! My family needs me and I miss them!

 

I would normally been working all day today, but instead took my 2 boys for a drive up the coast. We went to some of their favorite places and had fish n chips at Cottesloe beach. We ended up a Sorento harbour and had a great time!

 

I'm gonna do stuff like this with them every weekend from now!

 

Life is too good to be wasting it working!
